Radioday Amsterdam 2001

Hans Knot: Returning from the radioday, which was held for the 24th time this year in Holland, I would like to thank all the people who were coming this time. Of course first of all the special guests Roger Twiggy Day (what a very relaxed and honest man), Paul Rusling (he promised us longwave radio from a ship this summer), Bob Noakes and Ruud Poeze (someday oneday) and not forgetting my good old friend since 1970 Marc Jacobs. You all did a very good job. But of course all the visitors of the radioday: Without you it wouldn�t have been the most succesful radioday in the history of SMC and Freewave Media Magazine. In the name of Rob Olthof and myself thanks a lot and hopefully we will be seeing each other on our party '25 years radioday in Holland' next year.

Ik wil een ieder aanwezig gisteren tijdens de radiodag bedanken voor de komst. In de eerste plaats onze goede gasten. Roger Day wat een relaxte en eerlijke kerel. Marc Jacobs vriend van me sinds 1970 en waarmee ik samen zoveel beleefd heb dat daar alleen al een boek over geschreven zou kunnen worden (juist zou kunnen dus niet). Bob Noakes en Ruud Poeze (wordt het nog wat of niet, we wensen ze het beste) Young Paul Rusling en alle andere voormalige deejays uit het rijke zeezenderverleden die er rondliepen. De Carolinecrew en de vrij verrassende toespraak van Peter Moore. Bovenal alle wanckers, anoraks, freaks of zoals ik het liever noem de aanhang. Het was een fantastische dag waarvoor namens SMC en mij hartelijk dank voor de massale opkomst. Tot onze 25ste jaar, volgend voorjaar.
